Many thanks to Age UK Hull for coming along to the The Armstrong Centre in Beverley, this morning to talk to residents about our partnership plans.

Anyone over the age of 50 can access advice about finance and wellbeing. You can also sign up to services.

Befriending

The Befriending service aims to reduce loneliness for people aged 50 or over, by providing regular contact at a time which is convenient to the person and can be over the phone, home visits or even a penpal.

Falls prevention

Falls are a common, but often overlooked, cause of injury. Around one in three adults over 65 who live at home will have at least one fall a year, and about half of these will have more frequent falls.

Home Support

Age UK Hull has an established team of trusted, trained, and experienced Home Support Workers who you can rely on to help you.
